Wine, olive oil and their lands
All seasons are good for a walk in the Berici Hills: the silent winter, the thousands of blossoms in spring, the deafening buzz of summer, the colors of autumn: and each season offers immersive sensations and the possibility to experience the flavors of this particular land, between the mountains and the plains: the local wine and olive oil.
An event in collaboration with Italy by US
Our hike will start on a road that shortly leads to a path surrounded by typical flora of the sunny slopes of these amazing hills. On the way we'll stop and visit a little archeological site, the rest of a small shelter, ancient signs of human presence.
After our short hiking experience we'll cross the cartroad that will soon lead us to our destination: the Adagiovini Winery vineyards where the owners Andrea and Marcella will let us taste their wines and their olive oil served on bread croutons.
Wine tasting
- Senza pensieri - garganega spumante metodo charmat (sparkling wine)
- Venerdì - garganega ferma (white Italian wine)
- Legami - Tai Rosso (red Italian wine)
At this moment we will be accompanied by the evening light, and the picturesque view on the Berici hills, the plain and the Euganean hills in the background.
Then, Andrea and Marcella will lead us through the vineyards and olive groves to discover about the history of Adagiovini and the behind-the-scenes story of their passion and the production of their wines.
We will be back to our starting point in about half an hour along a hilly road (approximately 18:45-19:00)
At the end of the tour it will be possible to buy the tasted wine and olive oil, directly from the producers

In the last years we thought about the meaning of “natural wines”, definitions, categories and reasons why people are in love, or hate, with something just because it fits a definition.

We are in love with the land, the wine and the outcome, sometimes rude, that come from their connection.
We love character and peculiarity more than approvations, experiment more than perfection.
We’re looking for our way, easy, spontaneous, broad-minded probably full of mistakes but, hopefully, funny and satisfied."

Difficulty: E - easy/medium, length 3 hours (including stops and visits). Steeper section in the first part of the route.
Language: this tour will be held in English language and it's open to everybody (recommended minimum age 8 years)
